[Mod] True Culture Location and Territory Naming for the Giant Earth Map

I was one of the loudest whiners about how I found Humankind's cultural transitions jarring. TBH, it still is but less so the more I play and enjoy the game. What I complain about now is the idea of being limited in my next choice of culture - though, now that I think about it, given the concept...

What happens if a full army hun/mongol horde pillages a tile?

Thank you @Victoria and @fortydayweekend for those excellent bits of wisdom. I'll take them to heart.

Please share your methods of fighting the Hun hordes, I'd really like to know.

Can someone explain to a dense old gheezer...

Thank you very much! That is exactly the sort of information I was seeking! :)

Can someone explain to a dense old gheezer...

howinheck I'm supposed to figure out the excess stability for my cities? I can't make heads or tails out of the information I read under the stability part of the city UI. It changes turn to turn but I've not yet figured out what the various numbers actually mean in terms of how much more...

Maybe my biggest gripe about the game is...

I'll take out the old soapbox to stand on and just say this: cultures come and go, clans, tribes, nations, come and go, but the land remains eternal. We may alter the face of it, build on it, trash it, pave it, ruin it, even, but the land is always there and our attachment to it runs as deep as...

Maybe my biggest gripe about the game is...

Where did I mention either Civ or RFC? Specious argument if ever there was one. I'm just speaking of one aspect of Humankind that sticks in my craw. And, as I said, there probably are ways to mitigate its effects.

    Live patch [1.2.116]

Comforting and promising. Much work remains to be done but I've confidence in the developers.

Gaining Science via Osmosis (and changing others civics)

Don't forget the role of public education in this concept of scientific transfer. You have to have a population that is educated enough to take advantage of the new science, which means you have to have built the schools and universities that create engineers, scientists, doctors, etc. New ideas...

Maybe my biggest gripe about the game is...

Since we bought into this concept with our purchase of Humankind, I guess we now have to find a way to like what we have to work with in the game's existing toolbox. So far, what redeems the game in my mind is the part where we grow cities and outposts. I think if we can enhance how we identify...

Maybe my biggest gripe about the game is...

Oh, right, thanks, I've already done that and picked up five of them from the site. Some are in my present game, in fact! :)

Maybe my biggest gripe about the game is...

True, and I can see the value in what you say, but for those of us who only play solo against the AI and never go MP, it is a bit different.

Maybe my biggest gripe about the game is...

...ithe fact that I'm never settled upon just who I am, and who my people are. It is like attending a costume party where everyone changes disguises every 15 minutes: "I'm sorry - who are you again, and who are you supposed to be?" I love many aspects of the game but this part just somehow does...

Anyone else finding it a bit buggy?

70 Plus hours in and no crashes, video glitches or obvious game bugs to report yet - though when I loaded up a saved game the next day, the initial screen I got was only part of the graphic layer, and it took a few seconds for the rest to finally fill in - with no problems, though.

    This game needs more clothes!

So The Emperor's New Clothes may have come off the 2nd hand rack?
