How is the AI in humankind? Specifically: How well does it handle combat? How logical is it in diplomatic decision making? Does it treat it like a game or does it role-play? How effective is it at posing a challenge to the human player?

Cheers, that confirms what I thought I was seeing. There were certainly exciting mechanics I picked up on, for instance in how battle and diplomacy are done. If nothing else, my hope is that a future Civ game will learn from and bring in some of the good things Humankind has to offer.

Mine was 303.7 MB but I don't see the new game mode or Vietnam and Kublai Khan. Was that just the patch? Will there be another download? Who else is having the same experience?

I should clarify, those screenshots weren't taken before and after a trade. They were from within the same turn, which was well after I had traded away my other 4 culture work. I can upload the save if anyone is interested in taking a look

Posting here as not sure if a bug or a game mechanic I'm unaware of Playing as Eleanor (France) I produced 2 great works of writing which yielded 4 culture and 4 tourism each. I then traded one of those away to Macedon in return for a work of writing which yielded only 2 culture and 2 tourism...

Yep. Our issue occurred after the server maintenance was complete

Whatever issue there was, it seems to be fixed now and is working again.

It seems a recent Steam patch messed up the save file for a play by cloud game my friends have been playing. Now, they have an auto save they can restore from but they need to delete the current broken game from the lobby. Does anyone know how they can delete the game? There's one player...
