i am enjoying the answers.it would be great if somebody actually sat and worked out how much culture each city had going by dates cultural buldings were built.i know that it wouldnt be 100% accurate but it would be interesting.

if i have a tec lead and i have just got rifling i sometimes put my sliders at 0% a few turns so i can get money to upgrade axeman and swordsmen.also works with macemen and musketmen but is alot cheaper.
i looked at the save.what i noticed was you have no allies to help a 2 front war.thats ok.i would suggest still attacking russia.i dont know how many cities you need to take for peace without losing out on a peace deal.as most people are angry with you anyway i would demand gold of them.use this...
i thought i would try this option to see what wars there would be.for fun i also tried earth 2 map standard size 18 civs.i am elizabeth and as this starting location is random my 1st city is around turkey/russia.
with aggressive AI on i was hoping not to meet any war mongering civs.i am around...
i have been using bug mod that overwrites my files.i tried to load a few different mods with it.its not exactly crashing but was sayong something about xml innit.i cant remember now.i reinstalled the game and kept some old saves.i dont know how i can use bug mod without this happening again.can...
