Don't receive a Great Prophet after Stonehenge

OK, I'm playing as Kongo. I can't receive a Great Prophet. There was a thread already on CivFanatics Forum but had a low SERP on Google. http://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/stonehenge-not-providing-anything-holy-district-not-available-not-a-bug.601951/ But anyways, the bug is then that I...

Don't receive a Great Prophet after Stonehenge

After I complete Stonehenge (I already have Pantheon) I don't receive a Great Prophet. I mean, I get the message that I received it and in Great People list there is no prophet available. But GP just doesn't show anywhere on the map. Build 1.0.0.26 / Win8 / Intel + Radeon Tried three or four...

    Why can't I build Inquisitors?

No, I can build Apostle but I can't start inquisition. And although my apostles are built in Taoistic city, they convert cities to Pantheon religion. I don't really care but it's kind of funny :) My apostles are really bad at fighting Russian apostles, so war in the near future is imminent :)

    Why can't I build Inquisitors?

Yes, now I see how much has my atheism blinded me :) I guess that was a pretty noob thing, so I'm even more grateful @Stilgar08 for your reply. Thanks. Are there any penalties for having several different religions in my cities, should I invest in launching a ˝reconquista˝?

    Why can't I build Inquisitors?

So, I have never actively pursued religion in my game. I conquered Ra-Kedet though, which has a religion and a Holy Site with Shrine, Temple and Meeting House. I can't build any of the religious units there. I'm Monarchy. The pesky Russian's are spamming me with their apostles, and already...

Most well defended city in the world?

Am I right that Ragusa (Dubrovnik) fell only to Napoleon's (Marmont?) troops? Dubrovnik's city walls are on UNESCO's list.

Why the Roman Empire fell and the East survived

Yes, that's what I was aiming for. It's a pretty straightforward question. Would WRE fall even if there were no (Germanic or other) people pushing through their boundaries. If one answers yes, then one has to admit prof. Halsall is on the right track. I'm just saying this because even if I do...

Why the Roman Empire fell and the East survived

More like wanna-be time traveling whatever. Are methods I'm talking about as outrageous? When investigators wonder why a plane fell down they play all sorts of scenarios in their head. They can't know what would happen in reality if they decide - let's think for a while what would happen if...

Why the Roman Empire fell and the East survived

Why? It's an equasion. In reality we had WRE; ERE; Germanic, Hunic, Slavic, Turkic ˝barbarians˝ (not Celtic, Illyrian, Gaelic though) and Eastern Empires. For hypothetical deliberation you just subtract ˝barbarians˝ and wonder what would happen with WRE. Also, I'm pretty...

Why the Roman Empire fell and the East survived

Interesting (theoretical) question could then be: would WRE fall as well if there were no Germanic tribes pushing across it's boundaries?

Why the Roman Empire fell and the East survived

I may have missed your point, but my question was - how and why did Germanic elements came to Galia? As far as I understand you are only showing in your very well written and even more detailed posts, that Germanic tribes affected Vulgar Latin (more in some less in other areas) but it was still...

Why the Roman Empire fell and the East survived

I appreciate facts in both of above sentences. I haven't got anything to say against that. But what I was really wondering is how did Germanic elements came to Gaul in the first place. They had to somehow, if they didn't some sort of Vulgar Latin mixed with Gaulish would be spoken in France...

Why the Roman Empire fell and the East survived

I understand your argument and am very close to accept it too. What I don't understand is, in Caesars times Gallia was populated by descendants of Celts with Gaulish language, yet in 5th and 6th century those areas were predominantly settled by Germanic speking people. Has transition occured...

Why the Roman Empire fell and the East survived

On a related note, we have had quite a tumultuous couple of months in Slovenia, with people staging nation wide protests and demanding resignation of corrupt officials. Political elite see protests from a different perspective - the lazy Balkan people have came and convinced some confused...

Why the Roman Empire fell and the East survived

I can accept the argument about WRE being in a state of civil war for much of the late 4th and early 5th century. This made it weak, power vacuum occured, etc. But. Is civil war enough for downfall of an empire? USA had a civil war, they're still around. Russia, England, China had ten kingdoms...
