Just Downloaded this mod and the patch. I click on my desktop icon to start the game and I get to the point where I am about to start the game. For a second it shows my settler and then it tells me that I have been defeated. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I keep getting this error and cannot continue playing. It keeps saying memory allocation failure : bad allocation any hints or clues on what I should do to fix this ?
