Actually, the only letters of Paul that are earlier than a gospel are those of Romans, 1st and 2nd Corinthians, and Galatians, which were written between 49-58 AD. The Gospel of Luke was written in 60 AD, which is before most of the rest of the New Testament and was written just before Acts...
