The only change I'd really like to see is the ability to build a pagan temple. Perhapse it can go obsolete with Theology, but I do think it should be possible. I don't think it would unbalance anything horiblly. In fact it might make health come up more often.
It can be usefull to use a Great Artist after you take a Barbarian city. They are usually in open land and it will prevent another barb city from spawing too close. I used this technique on a Terra map to help me get to Domination.

Yeah, I don't get this one. Playing civ for a long time, if anyone is silly enough to declare war early on- its my new goal in life to take their capital. Especially because in the early game a single archer can defend a well cultured city.
