First thing: we are cultural, philosophical and have marble around. This is great for a shot at a cultural victory. Islands are good for that too as you need less military for quite some time. But this kind of victory needs a wee bit of dedication from early on. You have to plan for it...
We're still alive. And I don't exactly know how to use that log script
I bought uranium from Mansa one turn before the UN vote banned nukes. So we can forget that, but I crippled our research with the payment. Not that it does really matter.
Apollo is finished. Switched several...
Shall we let this finish in a clean and gentlemanlike way? Or should we rather play it dirty in which case I will try and nuke Vicky to slow down her spaceship build? After all she is ugly and deserves it.:D
Many cities, but way too small. All those size 4 cities can hardly pay for themselves. We need to grow them fast to make them productive. I switch several citizen to food heavier tiles and two builds in coastal cities have to wait until there is a lighthouse built.

I don't mind losing. But you should get something out of it.
Being alone on an island makes the game at least one level harder, maybe two so I'm sure I wouldn't have one that alone. But the mistakes that have been made from the beginning there are some basic ones: plan ahead in terms of city...
Strangely enough, we are at war, don't have markets but build theatres instead of markets and units. What for?
Munich is unhappy (again) and builds an observatory instead of some happiness producing thingie.
We have lots of money, but our chariots aren't upgraded.
Essen builds a pikeman...
