That is just as strong as getting the settler itself, or even stronger when you don't want/need another city.
I would say attacking unprotected civilians should result in a negative diplomatic modifier because it is a war crime. That would create at least some counterbalance.
Hills should subtract 1 Food from a tile and give 1 extra Production.
Coast should give 3 Food and 2 gold.
Tundra should give 1 Production.
Every other terrain/improvement/feature should double its yield from what it is now (except Marsh and Jungle). And calibrate the game accordingly.

One thing i fear is the lack of Iron or Strategic Resources in general which I heard several times... In theory it can stimulate diplomacy, but I fear it will horrible unbalance the game.
Natural Wonders have some unique bonuses, like according to BAStartGaming (part3) the Red Sea/Dead Sea (?) will heal adjacent units instantly. And that natural wonder also consists of 2 tiles.

Why do people like the feature of multiple leaders? They'll mostly play the same as the other leader of the same civ, but with 1 or 2 details different. I'd rather have them work on new civs that give a complete new flavours and gameplay.
Well, I already pre-ordered because of a 25% discount. You'll probably have to wait half a year for such a discount to emerge again. And I know I'm going to play it. Otherwise, I could understand this pledge.
That seems logical, but how does the trading of resources with other civs fit into all of it? Do you need to harvest it to be able to trade it? What is the advantage of trading it?
Maybe there is an extra warmongering penalty when you target civilians? With the option at peace negotiations of returning them to the original owner to offset that penalty.

After launch, probably the most needed overview is that of promotions. In civ5, there wasn't any good overview of the promotion paths per unit type. I wasn't sure whether certain promotions were unlocked after Drill/Shock I...
