    Needlejet vs Cruiser

Wait...I just remembered the bomber has a :c5rangedstrength: penalty against vessels in Civ5. Funny, isn't it?

    Needlejet vs Cruiser

:cringe: Just tried the carriers, they didn't do as expected, because the air sweep bonus is delivered to upgraded tacjet for free while the air interception one requires specific affinity and trade off of other bonuses. but surely, they're better in withstanding air raids than gunboats. The...

    Needlejet vs Cruiser

Needlejets with +15% :c5strength: against land/sea units can sink a cruiser in just 2 sorties, which makes the vessels useless. Currently, after the opponent gets level 2 tacjet, it's nearly impossible to attack with navy if he/she uses them properly (and is a human player), because the...

    Seeding options - best spacecraft

;) Seems I'm the only person who voted for Lifeform Sensor. It's really good for a "no S/L" game or just for saving time on "S/L". The explorers only get attacked when they moved in 2 hexes from an alien nest. So with the sensor, my explorer can have a safe time to find and dig the ruins. With...

    Aggression toward station partners?

 It's even more weird as I receive this calling when I haven't attacked any of the trading stations. I think the ai treats a city trading with it as a trading station as well and give me this warning. Didn't you guys receive it when in a war?

    Seeding options - best colonist

I think the reason is obvious. Scientist: +2; Refugees: +2; Aristocrats: as 2 energy to 1 hammer. +2.5; Engineers: +2; Artists: +3; Add the fact that the health is more valuable than the other yields. A total victory!

    Seeding options - best cargo

Neither a Hydroponics or a Laboratory will make your first settler come earlier. But a free worker can give you +3 hammer on settler production, which is already superior. As health can be ignore in early game, a client means only 1 beak. Not worthy. Alien won't attack your city and a soldier is...

Non-military victory conditions too easy / too fast?

Haven't tried a game with non-military victory. But my fastest supreme victory is on turn 192 under Apollo difficulty. Keep invading the one closest to victory to keep the ais low.

Apollo OCC domination - No war, only coups.

:goodjob: Genius! I think this is the core of the game-breaking issue! I've never had a chance to try the radiation bomb or the worm attack. Thanks for the tip :p I'll try out before they fix it.

Unique units with affinity level 4 overpowered?

I'd like to see some promotions that increase the efficiency against some affinity units and keep them a little bit op against normal units.

Is completely ignoring health viable for a wide game?

I think this is more about the value of Prosperity tree. Currently, it's like go prosperity, you keep health above 20; Ignore prosperity, you have to ignore health and get bonus from other virtues. So it's like 20% more hammer, science and culture vs extra virtues from industry and science...

    Friendly Aliens

50 - 80 turns are too long to be viable. :( It's enough for me to get explorer and merchant immunity to xeno attack and a crushing arm on xenos.

    Are favors completely useless?

Favor's good. In civ5, when ai had nothing to trade, they made demend, while in be, they trade with favor. Refuse a demend will cause a dow or serious relationship damage, but trade won't.

Anyone see a red alien yet?

They were always green and never have been red, yellow or blue in my last 3 games. I cleared half map of xenos and tried to keep a xeno nest in border for like 30 turns. Nothing happened.
