No, the Steam version of GnK will not work with the AppStore version of CiV. I had to purchase it via the AppStore itself.

About to test it on my Mid 2011 iMac. I hope it works. EDIT: I'm surprised to say it works even better than before! Started a game with 21 civs on a Giant Earth map and no more white and red checkerboards :)

I tried a random king save file with austria and i'm kinda dominating everything on king :crazy eye: :) Though i don't know how much better i am, the Austrian UA is beyond broken :lol:

Thanks everybody for the responses. GreedysMaximus I've seen biborkarly and MadDjinn's videos on youtube, and they're amazing players, but what they do on their videos always pertains to the very specific situation that's in their game. Since every game is so different, i don't know how to apply...

I'll try it, but it's gonna take a LOT of games for me to get comfortable again. :P thanks though

:mad: it seems like every difficulty is either far too easy or blatantly impossible due to early rushes. I can't find a balance. I've been trying on Prince and it's easy, but moving up to king is nearly impossible for me. I don't know if my strategy is just bad, or what's happening. I usually go...

._. it's only happened to me in this game, but everyone is emotionless to me now. And nobody is angry or happy with me. Ghonasiflaids that's probably because he's not an actual civ, more of just random territory the devs wanted on the map.

Arabia doesn't know what they think of me, it seems. Don't really know how this happened :crazyeye:

I agree, Mayan UB is amazing. It and the UU can both make you leap ahead of AI civs in the early game. I haven't lost yet with them.
