The industrial era is where things are getting exiting most of the time, though I do like discovering where your empire is located, what type of terrains you get, etc in the classical period and whatever the era before it is called.

Not really, if you zoom out, it just seems like a round planet, while it's just 2 identical maps on a half globe pasted together. I think it's a very cheap way of making it seem like a real planet, especially when playing an earth map it looks dumb

Hey, is here a way/mod to make the map seem like a real round planet when you zoom out? I mean, so it doesn't look like some weird double sided parallel globe thing, but just like earth?

By playing it, I guess? I mean, you could be doing great in technology, and all of the sudden someone could attack you (ALWAYS Charlemange, that bastard) and ruin your empire...

The AI had better cities both times and they would have beaten me if I hadn't launched that early. It looks pretty dumb though, seeing that spaceship fly without casing for most of its body.

If your spaceship fails (because of not having enough casings I mean), when do you get notified of that? At the launch, the arrival or anywhere in between? I have send sent two spaceships already, one at 20% and the other at 40%, so I guess I got lucky at having them both land safely...

I did have builders and improvements, does it matter when you put them on automated because I heard people saying you shouldn't do that? Oh, and the map didn't have seas, just small lakes, does that matter than? So you really have to work towards the space techs from the beginning then...
