Beyond the sword

Thanks for remembering Phallus, good days past behind, may I also remind everyone, new and old, that it was about these days that I started creating the Babylonian Assets, which without the help of some buddys in the forum (Gunner, SilverKnight are among the many that helped me gather ideas ;) )...

    Questions & Answers

I tried to play regular civ just to compare with RFCW last week, I just plain simply couldn't spend more than five minutes on the game , it felt quite strange to see that the Arabs were around but no cities of mine flipped to them. I sometimes think that if RFCW was advertised along...

    Expansion Civilizations

The Babylonians must be included, they should have been there in the first place. The Arabs aren't enough representing the Babylonians in the game, the Babylonians had a distinct culture, which if you go deep into tradition is infact Iraqi culture. We do not, however, need Assyria or Akkad...

    Civ 5 announced!

No way is it going to be Civ5, I think the website was too quick to take that unjustifiable statement into a certain announcement. Civ V shouldn't come before 2-3 years minimum. If it turned out that Firaxis/Take2 are actually going to release Civ5 within the next year or so I think the...

    Unique Civ-Specific Great People Names

Octavius, Perhaps it sounded a bit too fancy :p, what I meant is that I have created the code 'tags' for the xml: ie: <Greatperson>UNIT_GREAT_PERSON_NEBUCHADNEZZAR</Greatperson> English <Nebuchadnezzar> etc.. your same system really, although I'm not quite sure about whether or not you...

    Unique Civ-Specific Great People Names

Octavius, I have already gathered the names for Babylon, they are coded, but the only thing remaining is compiling them with the other names. If only I could find the time to do that :undecide:.

Animated leaderheads... keep 'em or chuck 'em

I can understand why some members would like static LHds, but this is too specific and shouldn't be added to the initial mod. There are already some -ready to go- static LHd packs in the Creation and Customisation' forum for download. Simply replace some art files and some basic XML editing...

    Unique Civ-Specific Great People Names

Fearuin, thanks for the list . Octavius, what bigger list? if atleast you have the names (no code), send them to me to compile, I don't want to have to go through the process of updating a few weeks later :).

    New Civ suggestions

I think (We) are doing a good job at hiding it, then why are we still discussing this?

    Unique Civ-Specific Great People Names

Hi guys :), Just so you know, I've created the code for the Babylonian 'Great Poeple', it should be as easy as 'cut and paste' to add them to the game :). However I still need to alter the other names, (some of you weren't fond of some of the other civs' names -Columbus comes to mind)...

    The plague and the Natives

You see, that's the point of the plague, just like AI triggered wars, to keep civs in their relative historical areas as much as possible. So I think it was intended :).

    New Civ suggestions

Get over it people, I thought we have already established that no civ will be added. So basically, just like Spearthrower said, the chances of some civs are the square root of zip. And to continue his theory, the chances of other civs to be added are in order of civular mass from zip. √0...
