There is some very exciting stuff in the works right now. If you have more links to cool advances they are always welcome.
My congrats as well to Naskra. :)
F@H seems to have server problems more than you would think they should. They usually blame Stanford IT but who knows. My unsupported speculation is that they are great with proteins but perhaps not so great with servers.
Good to see you back. :)
Work Units are of different sizes and complexities so that's usually not a meaningful way to measure your contribution. Each WU does have a credit points value though that is a more accurate method of tracking the value of your donation. Most hardware is measured in Points Per Day (PPD).

The launch of Civ4...
Yes, it is an older poll, but the numbers still illuminate a strong dissatisfaction. This forum is still divided over Steam and as I mentioned earlier it makes sense that people who won't buy because of Steam won't hang around this Civ5 sub-forum. I would claim the opposite of your statement...
Thanks for taking the time to post a well-reasoned and thought provoking argument. :)
I do see now that the poll questions could have been phrased better and as you said some pro-Steam people like yourself could have (correctly) voted a "Steam-neutral" vote as Steam didn't influence your...
I'm not organizing a boycott or whatever. For my various personal reasons, of which Steam is only one, I have decided not to pay any of my money to 2K. I encourage others to think for themselves and to do what is best for their own personal reasons.
I did find it interesting that anyone who...
