I can't get past the early game when attempting a victory on Deity. Forward settled pretty much every time.

I would think Sumeria (Gilgamesh) should have the top spot. Macedon has some strengths as well.

I just hope an all out civil war doesn't break out. I can see why Spain doesn't want to lose the territory, but the people have spoken and made their wishes clear.

Democracy is the best form of government. while not perfect, and it doesn't always work as good as it should, there is so much more freedom allowed to people under a democracy. Also if the people in charge aren't doing a good job, the public can fire them next election. No one is guaranteed...
