I have a quite annoying problem. Every time I start Civ with a mod, whether starting from a shortcut or "Load a Mod", it takes 5 - 10 mins to start. However, when I check the Processes, Civ is still there! This happens for any mod. Help? Thanks!

I have two problems, one preventing the fixing of the other. My game started crashing at about turn 450, so I took a look at the forums, which said to use the world builder. unfortunately, whenever I try to use it, I get another CTD. I am using FF 051 w/ patch C. Help?:(
