Young female college student named police chief in Mexico; no one else applied

LOL, well, yeah. But people who drink alcohol are no longer the reason the mafia is still around.

    NPR fires Juan Williams.

Of course he's a bigot. You can defend him all you want, you've already admitted you think the same as he does. That doesn't mean you can expect people to play dumb and pretend it's not bigotry.

    Is RB3 proving its point?

"completely broken and unfixable." Nerf the horsemen.

    NPR fires Juan Williams.

So you're saying employers should be forced to not fire their employees, no matter how bad they behave? Huh.

    NPR fires Juan Williams.

It's inflammatory and bigoted. It's like saying you're afraid of sitting next to black people on the bus. :dunno:

    NPR fires Juan Williams.

Good. He was a disgrace to the profession of journalism.

Would you vote for an Atheist?

This thread is like a time warp to 1952. What buffoonery.

    Anyone miss privateers?

I miss the concept of privateers. But before frigates the AI couldn't handle them and they were exploitable.

The smartest thing the AI did to you

King level on an archipelago map. I prioritized rationalism, order, and freedom ahead of patronage. I was going for a spaceship victory, when Persia picked the United Front policy and built United Nation. They used their golden age income to chip away at my CS allies and my economy ended up...

The AI seems to intentionally set out to upset you

It's the infamous "creepy guy on a bus sits next to you" strategy.

Sullla Discovers the Major Fault Behind Civ V: The Death of Civ?

His starting terrain and position were mediocre. It did have horses, which were essential for his horseman rush strategy to defeat Greece. Which were in a worse position than he was. He makes note that his horsemen are running over their warriors, but they haven't got the horses to use.

Barbarian As Golden Age Generator (?)

City states don't have the 30 XP cap. If you've got one you don't care about, you can XP farm it for quite awhile. Gets boring though.

Sullla Discovers the Major Fault Behind Civ V: The Death of Civ?

What a lot of drama. Dude beats a game on the second hardest difficulty level using very strong strategies that he's developed and, arguably, exploits. He admits that he had fun playing it. He admits in a few cases he got lucky. All of his complaints are fixable and/or moddable. As the...

Super-Complex Organic Molecules Found in Interstellar Space

You're thinking of anthracite. Anthracene is a simple organic compound (emphasis on simple, the OP's article is vastly exaggerating anthracene's complexity). Anthracene and other PAH's are commonly found most everywhere that there's carbon and hydrogen. It's easily formed "inorganically."...

    Guy problems

As my genitalia are completely prehensile, I simply adjust their position to comfort me as the situation presents itself, without drawing untoward attention to myself by adjusting manually.
