House Democrats contemplate abolishing 401(k) tax breaks

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you. Are you saying that if my neighbor and myself pay SS all our lives, I should get less after retirement than my neighbor because I also payed into a 401K???

Snuff Tobacco (or Dip) and The Snap

I forgot I do snap. And yes it is disgusting to those who don't use, so I never used it around chicks, until I got married.

Snuff Tobacco (or Dip) and The Snap

I use Copenhagen. Typically once a day only (at night when playing Civ), cause using it too often messes up my inner lips & gums. The big question is does any non-americans use it? I have only met one, and that was after being deployed in a NATO unit in Bosnia. I think he was Norwegian.

    6 years and what results

    - If you are within the wealthiest 1% of Americans you are even richer due to significant tax breaks. (a few others were affected, but mostly only the richest of the rich). - If you are a share holder of Haliburton stocks you are richer today than 6 years ago. Hmmm, I'm trying to think of...

    Dicuss workouts + gym equipment.

The muscles retain the water. Which, in turn, allows you to work them out at a higher rate, meaning a longer and more strenuous workout, promoting more muscle growth then W/O the creatine.

    Dicuss workouts + gym equipment.

You have to drink alot of water when taking creatine, perhaps that is why you were cramping, cause the creatine allows your muscles to suck up alot of water. Also, you should scoop the creatine into your mouth then down it with water, cause creatine immediatly starts "decomposing" (not the...

EU Calls For Guantanamo "Anomaly" Shutdown

I'm a USian who hangs my head low every time I hear the word Gitmo. What a stain on the US in the eyes of the world and many (perhaps most?) USians. But, the question comes up. What exactly do we do with suspected terrorists captured in foreign countries? I didn't think it was legal to...

So what exactly do the guys on the ground think?

I wonder from what capacity you are talking to these returning soldiers? As an almost 20 year NCO you should know that soldiers rarely speak negatively about their missions to other military personnel who are not friends, for various reasons. Also, your numbers are a little skewed as you didn't...

North Korea Warns Of Nuclear War

Since you're already being corrected on your horrific history lessons about the Korean war, I'll let you know that the above American soldier was not being honest to you. BTW, in case you planned on asking, I served a total of 3 1/2 years of my 11 year military career in Korea, so I know a...

    Iraq

Hmmmm, that's wierd. I work for a religious organization (though I am an atheist). We had a muslim Iraqi who converted to lutheran give a speech at my work. He said all non-muslim teachings are done through underground churches. This was like in 2002, but I'm prepared to stand corrected...

    Iraq

No they did not have freedom of religion. Christianity was not allowed, it had to be done through the underground.

I think he's talking about destroying the mobile launchers not airborne missiles.

S Korean protests greet Koizumi's summit visit

That's pretty minor. They have thousands of protestors showing up for anti-US protests every summer.

End Is Near For Guantanamo ???

http://apnews.excite.com/article/20050609/D8AK7NAG0.html I copied some of the important parts. This would be great news if it happens. Gitmo has been a very bad stain on the US. * Edited the link
