    Untitled NK Project

OOC: A very simple cautionary nursery tale from the early Ren (Chalcolthic) period in eastern Thestrenia with pre-agricultural themes. Later iterated on in much greater epic/dramatic detail by period. The Feasts of Mirnal In the days when Varhal still walked the earth, and his clouds shielded...

Great to see you again, Dreadnought! I can put you in any area where we have a dropout, or if you have a specific background in mind we can put you somewhere with a low player density.

    Who's still here?

My generation came in around 2005, and I think our activity peaked around 2008-2012. NESes steadily became complex and deeper as the mods aged, but fewer threads were run. After the 2014 crisis, activity dwindled, but people still run games from time to time that are still quite good.

    So why did NESing die?

Wow - great to see you Bananalee!! #nes IRC is still straggling along with its last few regulars, and I still host D&D on it, but I remember you were a hop waaaaay back in the day. As far back as 2008, we had IRC as a supplement to our forum, and it was mostly a social gathering spot rather...

While We Wait: (Almost) Anything Goes

You're basically right - we describe the coastal area of Taglarika as "if Netherlands lost to the sea," so it's a Danish/Frisian/North German geographic resemblance, with these big bight/sound type areas cutting deep into the landmass, creating many shallow channels. In the north is kind of like...
