    The niggling things

The seven remaining civs that don't have unique palace architecture yet (Arabia, Persia, Scythia, Greece, Macedon, Indonesia and Georgia) really should get it. I mean, we're so close to every civ having unique assets now... If nothing else the group that uses the Mughal style (India, Arabia...

[NFP] Civilization VI: Possible New Civilizations Thread

I'm kind of leaning towards the final civ being the Berbers led by Tin Hinan at this point (maybe with a Tuareg Cavalry UU and Foggara UB?). I think that people may have become a little fixated on the idea that the final civ is likely to be Portugal or a Native American civ because the...

    Future Update - Speculation Thread

Assuming we do get Ethiopia in this expansion (which honestly seems like a pretty safe bet) I'm predicting we'll see Dallol as a new natural wonder in their first look trailer.

[GS] New Natural Wonders in Gathering Storm

I was recently reminded of another potential natural wonder that would be pretty spectacular from a visual standpoint - Kawah Ijen in Indonesia: Yes - the lava is blue (due to igniting sulphuric gases). If the mud volcanoes of Gobustan are our sixth wonder then perhaps the dev team was...

[GS] New Natural Wonders in Gathering Storm

My vote has to go to: Sea of Stars - Vaadhoo Island, Maldives Though I would also say that Zhangjiajie in China and Dallol in Ethiopia are worth consideration.

New Content Coming to Civilization VI Digital Deluxe Edition

Just putting this out there as a possibility, but if the African civ is the one in the 2 leader DLC, perhaps it might be Nubia/Kush and an extra leader for Egypt? Just trying to think of pairs of civs that would fit nicely into a scenario together. I'd also be happy with Mali, Ethiopia or some...

Civ VI Civ and City-State Symbology

Other than the fact I'm also pretty sure the symbol for Hattusas is a simplified version of the Sun Disk, this list is absolutely fantastic - thank you for making it DJ Tanner! Looking at the current list I'm expecting Arabia and Russia will probably have the same colours and symbols as they...

"Pokrovka" is surely not Scythian city name

I think 'Hsia' was actually meant to be 'Ning-Hsia' (Ningxia). For all the Civ V civs prior to the Korean DLC the city lists were just copied over from Civ IV, though because of the way they did it some mistakes were introduced - usually missing part of the name off. The same thing happened with...

    Next civ video after Greece!

Voted Arabia. I get the feeling it'll either be them or Russia. I think Sumeria is the least likely as it just seems weirdly right to make the 'first civilization' the last to be revealed... That said my track record at guessing the order has been pretty terrible thus far. I think I've only got...

Firaxis and Civ 6 at Pax West on Saturday 3rd of September

People seem to be forgetting the time where they said there would be a big reveal at the end of the stream and it turned out to be the Maracanã Stadium (which we had already seen). Maybe it will be a new civ, but I'm not counting on it.

Eurocentrism to the Max!!! What we gonna do?

I think this pretty much covers how I feel about the civ selection. I don't think that any of the civs we know about thus far are 'unworthy' of being included in the game - or even being part of the initial release. The issue I have is that there is a real disparity between Europe and the rest...

    Are you pre-ordering?

Probably not unless they reveal what the Deluxe Edition DLCs include and they have some more civs I'd want to play as. There are a few in the basic lineup I like (particularly Scythia), but most don't really interest me enough to make the game worth its pricetag.

    Screenshot analysis!

Possibly for India?: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stepwell Perhaps it will replace the Aqueduct and provide amenity bonuses/bonus populataion growth? Essentially the 'Population Growth' ability from V in a new form. EDIT: Ooops - hadn't seen that someone had provided the wikipedia link already.

Which Civ's First Look video will be released in the week of Aug 22-26

Guessing India because we've known about Gandhi and the War Elephant for a while now. Rome is also a reasonable assumption though. It looks as though Poland may be one of the DLC civs, so I'm not expecting to see them anytime soon.

    All leader portraits

Greece probably won't be split - Pericles and Gorgo are both listed under 'G' for 'Greece' in the leader portrait chart, rather than as 'Athens' and 'Sparta'. The most likely explanation is that there will be multiple leaders per civ, as there was in Civ IV. Don't forget it seems there also...
