I improved this mod A LOT combining it with the brilliant 40civs mod created by Mikel Olson. Now the world is not empty anymore. Also, some minor improvements were made to take advantage of 40civs. Check out the new version here...

Ah, also, if only the interface is at fault, try the shortcuts for interface: Alt + I = Remove/Bring back interface , Ctrl + I = Minimize/Maximize interface .
