I am actually quite interested in this. How did you solve the unit colors? Did you still have a palette of reserved colors? I merely thought that doubling the palette size was sufficient for color variation without increasing the file size too much.

Unfortunately not. I tried in Chrome and Safari. I looked at the JS console in both FF and Chrome, and nothing is erroring out.

Hats off to you for reverse engineering this. I can't even fathom having to reverse engineer stuff with almost a non existent tool chain in windows. :goodjob: I look forward to seeing what you can do.
I write code on my Mac and linux box and play games on my windows machine.
I primarily use ArchLinux as my main distro with OpenBox as the windowing system.
Any other information on the tiles would be great.
