Wow, that's a really clumsy system. If I spend any amount of time on these forums I'm going to end up with a huge amount of useless Alerts. There should be a delete option available.
Not so far. I just logged back on and the alerts from before are still there. It will get rather cumbersome if I end up with a huge list of alerts that I've already looked in to. And I don't see any sort of delete option anywhere.
I just noticed that section, and responded to the Alerts that showed up from a discussion I started. But I don't see a way to get rid of the Alerts in that box afterwards.
Well I am keeping an open mind about the game. But after Civ 5 I'm not going to rush out and buy it as soon as it comes out, I'll wait and see what others think of it first. I hope it's good, I'm getting kind of bored of Civ 4, and I would love to have a good 4x game to play. It's been awhile. I...
Looking at the resources in the game, it appears that they haven't brought back Health as a factor in this version. I thought that was a very good mechanic to have in Civ 4, and losing it was one of the reasons that kept me away from Civ 5.
Keep in mind that I had problems using BULL with windows 7, it caused my games to crash a lot more than usual. It was pretty much a rock solid game when I used it on Windows XP, it rarely ever crashed, but that changed when I switched to Windows 7. As soon as I removed BULL, the game went back...

I'm running Civ 4 on Windows 10 as well, and there have been no problems with it all. There's nothing special you have to do in order to install and run it either.
I'm sure there's plenty of people like me who decided against playing Civ 5 and stopped coming around. But they'll be coming back to hear how things are with Civ 6. I'm hoping they had the sense to return to the roots of the game, but I won't be buying it until I know for sure that they did. So...
