I’m trying to load up a map from another player. We have the same settings, same mods are enabled, I enter the same map and game seeds and I NEVER roll the same map. I’m not sure what the problem is. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm glad I came to this thread. In civ 6 I actually won my first 2 deity games in the Civ series. I knew it was too good to be true. I guess I have work to do.

Did they also increase the city strenght of cities, both AI and city-state? tried to invade nearby city-state wither my 4 archers and it was a struggle.

Great guide. Recently I won my very first game on Diety level. I've never won on diety level in Civ 4 of Civ 5. One aspect I find important is to take advantage of support units such as Medics and Air balloons (+1 range on artillery for example, puts them out of city bombard reach)...

Just to compare with other, most likely better players than me. Do any of you ever settle a city that is not adjacent to a river or coast? I mean a city in the middle of nowhere where an aqueduct can't help. I ask because there are times where I could settle a nice resource rich spot but...

Browd, thanks for answering but I'm an idiot. there was a few small patches of fog that I never bothered to check. no bug. mods can close this thread.

My religion is dominent in all the cities on the map. 5 of 6 civ4 have adopted my religion. the last, scynthia had the religion in all its cities but doesn't show as a civ thats converted. Any ideas?

Hey all, I'm playing a game as Rome on KING. I have 6 cities and my total pop is 46. Arabia has 4 cities, and their total pop is 46. However, his cities are generating 135.2 science and I'm generating 60. I'm not considering the trade route science or the science from Arabia's empire...

No need to be sorry. I rarely use customs civs anyways. The only reason I used it was because I got smoked by 3 vanilla civs with very early culture victories previous to that and tried to even my chances.
