Playing regular on this game feels incredibly sluggish compared to Civ IV and V's regular speed. Playing quick feels a bit better, but still pretty slow. (Yes I like to play on regular and quick). Anyone else feel this or is it just me?

I downloaded a scenario and installed it using the in-game download thing but I still can't play it, am I doing something wrong or is it the scenario?

Every time I play with the Russians on RFC it will crash for no reason at all. I think it has to do with the mercenaries button because every time my arrow goes near it the game will abruptly stop working. Does anyone else have this problem?
