might be noob question.... but how the heck do I capture a city that was build on a one tile island??

How do I get Civ V to remember my latest choices, when setting up a game? I don't mean the extended setup, but the basic (which civ, map sizze, speed etv.) It's so annoying when I am rerolling to choose everything again and again.... Thanks your answers and sorry if this was already...
