I'm a little worried that the graphics might be too in-depth and slow the game down drastically. I already have problems playing on the two largest size maps, when it gets late in the game it takes about 2-3 minutes in between each turn to process the AI's moves. I can't imagine combining that...

If I'm in a MPP with another civ and someone acts that civ and I am forced to declare war on the aggressor, how long do I have to wait until I can make peace? The usual 20 turns like in a military alliance? Or can I do it as soon as I cancel the MPP?

I thought the forbidden palace was supposed to act the same way as a regular, palace, eliminating waste/corruption in that city and reducing it in nearby ones. I made a forbidden palace in one of my cities, yet it still has an incredible amount of waste/corruption. Am I missing something?

Playing at a higher level won't help you get the space race any faster. You need to balance out your military spending, if you get caught up in wars it will hurt your budget significantly. So you need to make sure to keep a large enough standing army to use as a deterent from other civs...
