I have searched and searched and I can't find the thread. It was basically a guide that included screenshots of how to win on a lower level like Prince playing as Ramasses II. It generated a lot of screenshots and discussion. Since I am still noob I need to check it out in more detail. Problem...
Just curious.
I was playing the slowest of games and my capital city of 16 got poisoned. The poison effect starved the city back to population 1 and the poison was still there a number of turns after having died back. Is it supposed to be so evil? It seems to me that this is far too powerful...
It is such a cool feature that the units "talk" to you in their own language. But I am still really curious. Is it all real?
What I mean is that each of the civs uses a real language, but there are some "exceptions".
When I first used the Egyptians I was saddened to hear "Egyptian" Arabic...
I was wondering if people could post their awesome starting positon save games so that we could compare and drool, gloat, envy etc.
I have a couple that I need to rummage up for posting. How about a Roman start with 5 marble? Sounds nice? Maybe you could do something with it. Need to work out...
Just so I understand it better.
When a great artist does a culture bomb, how many squares radius will the city expand assuming it is at the lowest 1 square?
How much money does a great merchant trade bomb give? on average? your highest amount ever?
Are there any other types of great...

Mounted units get no defence bonus right? Well if they are vanilla versions.
Why is it that the unique units get full defence bonuses? As far as I remember, Immortal, Conquistador and Cossack all get complete defence bonuses in forest and/or hills. Don't know about Keshik or Numidian Cavalry...
I don't know how else to explain it or where to report it.
The Taoist and Confucianist missionaries have the wrong sound for their spreading the religion. Each of the 2 uses the other one's sound file. In the assests folder if they are selected to be played, eg play the Confucianist...
I was playing as Ragnar and using upgraded beserker to grenadiers to rape Augustus. The city I was attacking was full of defenders and I used all my units that turn. Next turn when I went to attack the city was left completely empty. The ships had sailed away and all defenders gone. They left it...
Can someone please explain to me how to do a beserker rush. That is, get the beserker at the earliest time on marathon. Include techs, wonders, great people, whatever it takes to have them as early as possible.
Thanks
