I've pretty much given up Civ 6 for EUIV at this point because the modding scene for the game seems to be dead and buried at this point (for high quality mods at least). I wanted to make civs for 6 like I did for 5 but with the higher level of art making skill required it never seemed to be...
I just had a crash during the Renaissance era on my latest game. Haven't had any CTDs for a while. Most recent mod I added was Durkle's Anangu civ.
I've looked through the logs but can't find a cause for the CTD. Anyone else able to take a look?
Working well so far. The only thing that doesn't seem to be working is transferring volcanoes over after placing them in Worldbuilder. No issues with fissures, floodplains or new natural wonders.
Got my own conversion of Huge Earth working, however I've run into a problem where city states are relocated to other starting positions when they are unable to use their set one rather than automatically being removed from the game - how do I get this to work on my map?
Yea boi. Gonna give this a go and convert myself a huge Earth map.
Are you planning on making a tutorial on how to make tweaks to maps once they're converted?
Many of the game's processes have become slower in general. In my current game it took several minutes for it to register a change in city state envoys which caused the game to sit there and be unresponsive to any inputs. I don't understand how they can let these issues appear again after...
Anyone know how to stop he game from producing all of those csv log files? Maintaining them appears to slow down the game's processing of unit actions.
Apparently the logs needed for bug checking (Modding, Lua, etc) are enabled by default but I want to disable the .csv ones.
AI turn processing times are back to being very long since this most recent patch.
The culprit seems to be a lag when doing actions which consume units, like building cities, etc. The game lags for 2-5 seconds before the action takes place. Multiply this by however many AI players you have...
Following up on my original observation, the occasional slowness of turns seems to be caused by the game hanging for 2-3 seconds on actions which consume units (founding cities, killing units, etc). When you have a lot of AI players it is definitely noticeable.
What are people’s experiences like using mod civs from various makers (eg JFD, Suk, CIVITAS, AoSEc, etc)?
I’ve been experiencing frequent unavoidable CTDs either in the early medieval era or late modern era when using a combination of mod civs from the big modders, which on inspection of the...
This happens often for me when using mods like YNAMP with mods that add extra civs. Trying to debug to find the cause of the issue is painstaking and involves adding mods 1 at a time and playing until about 1950 AD to see whether there's a CTD. Out of curiosity, is it happening to people just...
Various improvements to the shape of Europe (adding Denmark, etc), West Africa and more:

Any chance of an addon to make the ai settle more cities by default on larger map sizes? Large portions of the Giant Earth map are usually empty for the whole game, even with 25 players because the ai won't settle more than 4-10 cities and tends to never settle on other continents.
