I plan to start playing Civ5 when the HOF is activated. Without checking here daily, can we be notified when the HOF becomes active? For example, if a Moderator updates a Sticky thread and we subscribe to that thread, could that be the indicator that the HOF is now active? :)

Playing PTW 1.27f, I load a New Game using Aztecs against France & India on Pangaea, Chieftain, Tiny, 80% Water, Sedentary, Arid, Cool, 5 Bn. When I Quick Start, I still get the Aztecs BUT my opponents are now the Americans & the Iroquois!......What's going on here? :confused:

Looks like you get a healthy Bonus Score for winning the game. Anyone know how this Bonus is calculated? Looks like it diminishes as times goes on!? However, I see the GOTM3 Winners "just happened" to finish their games (by Conquest or Space Race) at 2050 AD (Maximum possible date) and still...
