I just loaded Steam and BtS on a HP Pro 6300 desktop PC running Windows 7.1 Pro. Everything has been updated. When I go to launch BtS it starts the init process, etc, the graphics resolution changes but then it stops and goes back to the Steam page - as if it erorr'd out somewhere. I'm able to...
I have a new Macbook Pro laptop that doesn't have up/down/left/right arrow keys. Is there a way to substitute other keys for these so I can easily move my characters around?
Ok, I need help badly. A few months ago I found nirvana by being able to use Steam so I could finally play Civ4 BTS on my Mac without having to go into BootCamp. Everything has been great since then. The game runs super fast. I love it.....except....
I WANT MY MODS!!!!
I can't stand not...
What suggestions do you have for keeping track of relations so that when a civ asks you to stop trading with someone else you know which answer to give? Because they are modal boxes I can't get any adviser screens to open up. Is there a trick to this?

As far as...
Namlia,

Thanks.
That sums it up right there. Late in the game I go and dedicate a city to mass producing units and every time it finishes I have to have it do something. I'd just like to be able to auto stack it along with all the others and then move them en masse. And not have to get re-directed back to that...
When I play BTS I really enjoy the early stages of my civilizations a lot more than the later ones. I like the exploration, the way that founding new techs brings big rewards (e.g.Oracle). I also like the wide open spaces and the ability to settle areas and build out swaths.
I usually play...
