I haven't played Civ 4 in a good while, and was getting myself in the mood for it the last few days, but at the same time I remember the inevitable MAF crashes if you decide to play mods, or even large vanilla maps. Has this issue been resolved in the last 2 years, or is it still "broken"?

Okay, this is pointless, and trivial, but Im curious. What does a single infantry unit represent? 100 men, 500, 1000? Does a tank represent 10, or just one? And I know a naval unit is probably singular, since ships are big.
