    Assumming its a DDs file, you can download free software like GIMP and edit the image, or repace it entirely with DDS image from existing mods from earlier civs or indeed other games, total war for instancec a generals DDS image of any number of the periods civs, may need resizing of course.

    Sorry I was not clear, it runs as is for RF, and is a pre patch pre RF file I have on the system and is the only custom civ that will run without any modding after the update and RF install.

    Just DL core v31, many units have pink blob, and the Dl reported 2300 errors, will DL again to see if it repeats the problem.

    Had an idea, in MoM/FFH2 they used rage promotion ( base % chance per turn of activation) to take control of a unit and give it AI control, could not subdued animals escape from your control with this form of mechanism?, and return to being free ranging animals you own but do not control.
