    Vertical Toroidal Maps?

    Is it possible to make a map similar to the on that are on their side but instead turn them 90 degrees? so rather than North on an earth map being on the left side, its on the top side. In short the maps would be very TALL but not very wide. As opposed to maps that are very LONG but not very tall.
