I tried to build a city on the Oasis,I also wanted to build on the Oasis to get the cow pasturized,but no dice.I think maybe the cow could be the best spot.I want a commerce driven city,but I want to use the near by hills for production. What is the best spot for my future city?:confused:

I just wanted to ask if anyone else was curious about culturally linked starting points for Civs of similar backgrounds? Like how in Civ3 European Civs would be closer to each other.Or Japan and China would be nieghbors or what not.I think it would improve on realism WITHOUT taking anything...

Do you have to train recruited natives or is it something else? Cuz I have invaded enemy colonies Spain/england and they have expert/master cotton planters and I stole them,but it was a one time thing.... I have no patch and I cannot buy the cotton experts in europe....
