    [R&F] First Governor?

If I don't need to chop to get mines and farms up in my first two cities I go Liang first. If chopping is needed to get more then a couple tiles improved then Magnus first.

Real Costs of adding more cities

The era score threshold for standard/golden age scales +1 for each city past the capital. By the time building new cities is an option rather than a necessity the game's winner is largely decided (you right?), so always build more cities is a winning strategy.

FYI: Civ6 contains Red Shell Analytics Software

Have they got population growth wrong?

I would like a civ game where food supply is global, pop growth exponential, with housing, food, amenities and diplomacy being limiting factors on growth. With a few modifications, this game's amenity system could reasonably abstract supply and demand economics, which would nicely compliment...

    AI double attacks

This mechanic was designed and implemented by the same people who made roads with 0.75 move cost and the civ 6 civilopedia. Those things are both working as intended and awful.

    Amphibious Battering Rams and Jongs

According to the combat breakdown panel an embarked varu's intimidate is indeed applied to enemy naval units. This panel has a been wrong sometimes in the past, but if true amphibious war elephants are better than ever.

    Increased yields from buildings?!?

The +x from great people abilities isn't showing up in the yield preview and I don't know where the fractional values are coming from. It also appears it is necessary to swap out the adjacency multiplier cards before they will take affect on districts constructed after adopting them.

    Increased yields from buildings?!?

I am seeing the same thing edit: some data before placing district: 456.1 after placement: 461.9, stated adjacency bonus +10 (using double commercial adjacency card), actually getting +5.8 after buying market: 472.9, stated bonus of +10 but I get +11.9

    Rome's extra, somewhat hidden bonus

hardly an exploit when the legion is only half as effective as any other unit + worker which can repair and pillage in one turn while the legion must spend a turn repairing

    Beyond Earth

I like BE alot more in retrospect, especially the way city states kept to themselves instead of competing with major civs for workable tiles. The way almost every tile was worthwhile to work also gave it an old civ feel. The decision to have the factions sponsored by large transnational...
