    to the changes at the artdefines: does this mean, that I only have to whrite additional artdefines files (only sections for those units who are added to the mod) and then just have to get them "OnModActivated" like all the other xml-files?

    NOPE! Copyright is on rhetto ;) I'll give you some small modding guide instead: flavors difine the priority, leaders build units, building, ...,. the higher the number is, the higher is the priority. Each leader's flavors (and all the other character infos) are set in the leader_XY.xml...
