I know Civ VII is definitely too far along for Firaxis to change the gameplay model of Civ VII, but this is just something I’m hoping they do:
Cities got too damn big in Civ VII. Between wonders taking up full tiles, tons of tile improvements, and like 15 districts, cities just got too messy...
I’m generally a fan of how the culture game works in Civ VII, but it’s definitely not perfect. Miles better than V’s Utopia Project at least. I’m curious what the community thinks can be done for it in the next game, by the time the last expansion is released.
Personally I’d want them to retain...
In Civ VI government types/policies don’t really feel too different from one another, and more importantly you can’t tell what a Civ is running/has run at a cursory glance. But the way your country runs should have a more expressive impact on the map itself.
If you’re running Serfdom/Feudalism...
Has there been any word on whether or not mountain wonders received a rework in GS? Apparently ski resorts and Machu Pichu can be built on mountains, which is great, but what about wonders like Christo Redentor or Jebel Barkal or Petra? I don’t know about anyone else but I HATE that these...
Got a bit of a stumper here. Playing a game with Teddy and Harald. We all share a continent. I've met The two of them, but they haven't met each other, somehow. I goaded Harald into attacking me. Naturally, Teddy didn't jump into the fray. But if he meets Harald at a later time, would his Agenda...

Recently there's been some controversy regarding the resource icon for the resource we once thought was Tobacco.
It was identified as such by the German magazine preview which revealed Spain, India, & Hojo to us.
People say it looks like Incense. Some people say it's definitely Incense. I...
Now that we know in detail the bonuses of a third of the civs, what are some bonuses that alternative leaders could provide to offer a different way of playing a civ? Here's a link to Arioch's list of known bonuses, for reference.

Popular opinion on this subject seems to be split.
Personally, given the language of the deluxe edition contents ("civilizations and leaders" in the first four DLCs), the simplified leaderheads (flat backgrounds) and the significance ascribed by the devs to the leader bonuses (at the end of a...

1. What we know:
A. China's Great Wall Improvement can span multiple tiles.
B. (Besides presumably costing movement points to cross) The Great Wall confers a defensive bonus to units stationed on top of it.
C. Ed Beach and Dennis Shirk and Pete Murray have been using the word "canal" a...
