    IIRC, they are planning to have 3 game speeds, of which the current is actually the fastest. The little rabbit icon next to a game on the "my games" screen shows all the beta games are set to fast.

    Yeah, but having one option for new / independent players is dumb. Also, if that civ fills up, it becomes literally impossible to join a civ, which completely defeats the purpose of an online civ game, wouldn't you say?

    Dammit I want to know who won. It took forever and the only reason I was still interested was because I was almost at 1000 fame. I couldn't connect for some reason so I missed it.

    That's not true, that's how individuals win games. Whoever has the most fame points wins at the end. I guess that isn't worth much, true, but fame points do have some purpose. Also if you win a contest you may be promoted to king, which helps win you more fame if you win eras, and gives you more...

    Owned the brits eh? I'm glad I wasn't some minister of war for Britain supplying 65% of its army... who promptly used his powers as minister to force a retreat and defeat for Britain, while switching sides to Germany right before the end... That would be evil if I was! I'm GrahamT =P heheh

    Some small tips

    Keep in mind you have to produce science to get moves in the maze, which can give huge prizes. I currently have 50000 science because I solved 3 10k mazes in a row (which, by the way, was awesome). Although food and production are pretty much the best.
