Immortal University II - Elizabeth of England

You bastard, we can't access facebook at work :p

    Airey's Geeky Science: Immortal America

Nice attention to detail. Too bad I can't see due to photobucket bandwidth problems. Any chance you can upload to a different host cause I think these shots are very educational to someone like me (winning solidly on Emperor, but still not convinced I'd do well on Immortal :p )

Lets play CIV5 I - Hiawatha (HD video)

Your accent reminds me alot of Slovakian. Tell me if I'm wrong :) (EDIt: nevermind I'm an idiot, it says your Croatian right under your name :p ) I agree with the previous poster about the REXing. I agree the diplomatic hit is pretty significant early on, but I think in this case you should REX...

    ICS - How To

I'd like to see you play out a civ's strenghts to its maximum, cause I like optimalisation Some things I'd be interested in would be: 1/ (NC first into) Theocracy ICS France :culture: 2/ NC first (early Steel) ICS Babylon :science: 3/ ICS Chichen Itza (+Taj) Persia...

    ICS - How To

There is, gimme :p What are your thoughs on Theocracy for ICS bio? I feel I need it to break even when going mass REX after the first wave is up.

Which Civ for this particular strategy?

I agree with the Taj, it is much better than you'd think because the GA is so long. It works especially well if you have Chichen Itza/are Persia/both as well. The Stonehenge engineer helps with getting the Chichen

    ICS - How To

I'd very much like to see such a game from Alpaca, Martin, TMIT or biohazard; but one can only hope :) Personally I'm a big fan of NC first into Theocracy ICS, but I'm sure above mentioned players have a much crisper game plan as I'm only at Emperor level. Edit: My vote for favourite ICS...

    City Spacing

What you're saying about science is true Bibor, if you don't NC first, which I really think you should when doing ICS. What you should definately try is playing ICS as France/build a monument first for landgrab in the outer ring, but most importantly for Theocracy. Time it so your 2nd policy...

    City Spacing

I can only speak for Emperor level, but I've grown quite fond of NC first into ICS with Theocracy. So far it has vastly outperformed whatever the AI is doing so my answer would be: A spacing of 3. Spacing tends to be bigger when deserts/mountains are about.

[UI] AgS - Resource Info Panel

This has been mentioned before but I'd just like to confirm that hotkey support would be ideal. I installed this mod a while ago because it is extremely useful, but later de-installed in favour of the luxuries resources display in the top bar because it was accessible much faster (I prefer to...

How does the ICS strategy work?

I was wondering why I was always first to that, even though I'm very slow to get it. Thanks for that

    Social Policy Game 1: Autocracy

I'd say you could probably raise enough culture to add in some Honor SP's, who'll go nicely with Autocracy

    Unit Map

Excellent summary. would it at all be possible to note the stats next to the units (Str-Ranged Str-Movement?) Thing is I hardly ever remember the Strenght values cause of the 500 modifiers; and I find the civilopedia very annoying this time around (no actual info)

    Thoughts on REX+ICS

In my last game I encountered Desert Wheat. Que?... (no, not Desert, Flood Plains, Wheat; just Desert/Wheat)

    Thoughts on REX+ICS

Something I noticed in my last game is that 3 cities had improved horses in their range, however it only let me build the circus in one of them (Rome). I tried assigning the tile to the other cities but it still didn't let me build any circi (just to piss the anti-latin people off :p ); which I...

Is the Roman Empire too weak in Civ 5?

I feel people underestimate the usefullness of the UA because it is unspectacular. Something taking 24 turns instead of 30 isn't 'wow, that won me the game' but it definately adds up. Also, not much can stand up to a Legion/Ballista army. A note of critique to the start bias though: from...

    Thoughts on REX+ICS

I wouldn't underestimate the Liberty unlock bonus of cheap settlers. Also, citizenship saves you ALOT of turns

Play With Me 2: Iroquois Zero-Culture ICS

Looking forward to see how you'll fare without theocracy :) Small note: The Great Warpath is wonderful. However be aware that they only count as roads. If you want railroad connection later in the game, the trees just don't cut it anymore (pun intended). That is to say they don't count as...

    Coastal ICS

The best thing about coastal cities is that you don't need to build roads. The even better thing is when you research Railroad, all your coastals get free railroad access without the upkeep :) P.S.: Merchant Navy+Communism is very amusing

Liberty and early expansion. Is it a good strategy?

As long as you make sure to keep up with culture, always expand. Make sure cities can get to at least size 4-6 happywise and try to balance happiness around the 0 mark (depending on luxuries, Meritocracy, Collosea, etc) and keep that up. You'll see huge jumps around Theocracy/Forbidden...
