Yeah. I really like him as an actor, and his Doctor was great at being funny and enthusiastic and zany, but there was just too much overwrought excessive weeping and carrying on.

Smith, Eccleston, Tennant. As Doctors, not "I liked the stories in season N better." Tennant was fun to watch but incredibly melodramatic, too much so for an alien. Eccleston was surprisingly good, but I think Smith is the overall best of the new bunch.

Obviously "should have been" is subjective, but: the content they're adding in G&K sounds like it would bring Civ5 closer to what I expected the initial release to be. We had to wait a couple years and pay another $30, that's all.
