Did anyone manage to screenshot the religion screen with the religion icons from the live stream? I'm curious as what people think the cow and crab ones are.
I don't necessarily need Ethiopia for trade routes since I can reach a more distant neighbor, Japan, soon that can serve that purpose quite sufficiently well. Another problem is that with Ethiopia having marble and stone they will most likely be going for wonders the entire game and could become...
But wouldn't doing this still be building warmonger penalties? I've considered doing this but I always returned to the idea that if I'm going to DoW I should take out the most worrisome factor, their capital, and not have to constantly prune away at it.
So I've been recently playing since the fall patch and had to take a bit of a hiatus due to a bit of a dilemma that Iv'e been pondering for a number of days. I started up a game as Brazil, King Difficulty, Continents Plus. I started out a bit isolated with stone and marble whuch got me...
I know this might sound like a stupid question but from the wording of the explanation of the Indonesian UA I'm not sure if the special resources will be on the city tile itself, like with mercantile city-states, or if two tiles next to the city will "magically" have a special luxury on them.
To be honest I don't like this unit, but it's not from not liking the ability. I actually would much rather see ALL units regardless of their civilization get this promotion except maybe with a chance that it does nothing.
Has this been confirmed? Wouldn't it make more sense for tenants to be gained through tourism somehow(ideologies giving international influence) with culture gaining social policies (giving internal bonus')?
If a Vietnam civ were to focus not just on the Vietnam War it wouldn't bug me nearly as much, I actually might enjoy it quite a bit. It will just probably always throw me off a little because I have never saw a civ and instantly brought to mind an event that happened so recently.
Because i don't want to see a civ that will remind me of a single war, although a pretty important one, that took place just around 40 years ago. Even though I'm sure Vietnam has a rich and eventful history that has taken place over centuries I know I won't see them that way from the probable...
Even though I kind of hate the idea of Venice come out as a civ, I'll support it if only for the opportunity to help keep Vietnam from possibly becoming a full-fledged civ.
I can definitely say that from my experiences so far with the fall patch that the AI is better at warring. I think this could be due to slightly better combat AI, but i'm sure that most of the success the AI has in combat since the patch is from the AI building and maintaining a larger military.

I love terrace farms and the UA a lot due to the extra cash and making early exploration a lot quicker.
Korea never really appealed to me. The UUs seem to act the absolute opposite way the normal versions do. Plus their colors can be a bit of an...

I always hate it when playing as Arabia I have an overabundance of one luxury resource and when I get bazaars in the cities with the luxuries I end up with way more copies...
