It would be really great if the VP installer had the option of installing CP, CSD and C4DF without installing CPB. CBP is great and all but it's a complete overhaul, it's not for everyone.

Meh. Civ6 has been out for 9 months already. At this speed it will take many years to become a good game. As of today it's a boring 4x game with a frustrating user interface, questionable game design choices and a bad combat AI.

Nope. DLL source is still not available. "Development Tools" is basically just ModBuddy, an uploader for Steam Workshop and a LUA debugger.

For a game like Civ 100 hours is just scratching the surface :)

According to Steam I have played 58 hours and the last time I played was November 18th. I have no desire to play the game at the moment, so yeah you could say I have quit. The game has very cool ideas but in its current state is a mess. AI is bad, UI is terrible, diplomacy is broken, game...

I have been playing Civ games since Civ1 on the Amiga 500. What are my thoughts on Civ6 ? Well I have few concerns (graphics, UI, AI) but overall it looks promising so far.

Not pre-ordering. I am going to wait for more info and reviews on the full game. I am especially interested in AI and MP, the 2 big weaknesses of Civ5.

Unit icons that go over the city names in the main map. Very annoying.

Indeed it seems that there is little advantage. The only one that I can think of is if you have a veteran unit with many promotions those 10 HP extra could help him survive a battle and reduce the risk of losing a precious unit.
