Honestly, this just shows you have no idea what the netherlands look like, much like northern germany it's extremely flat boring grassland, putting him there would have just been a complete waste. But whatever, just wish you'd reconsider your stance of letting nature constantly be your deciding...

Great scientist tech bulbing or an academy?

I'd add that your tech path is rather relevant, pre renaissance, always academy, but if you need a clutch tech you need due to a very one dimensional civ or strategy (mongols or artillery rush for instance), just bulb, those 15 saved turns can mean the difference between getting 5 or 10...

    Cathy @ 7000+ GPT

Yeah had this before, really gamebreaking bug, when you're on the wrong end of their wrath you are screwed, or if you manage to get on their good sides you can trade all your gpt and resources for their gold pile, then DoW, and the game becomes a cakewalk. Amazing they havn't fixed this yet.

Pretty sure the main reason ducal stables are considered so strong is the 15% production bonus, which does not just apply to horse units like the normal stable. Not gonna argue with the UU though, but practically every civ has an element that is dissapointing, and perhaps it's just my playstyle...

    The AIs are griefing Me!

I'd be amazed if there was anyone on this forum who hasn't been in that situation, it's just what happens if you go full out warmonger, they're not griefing, you trying to stop you from winning a dom victory.

Oasis and floodplains are nice, but non hill desert tiles are still a waste of time, and if you've got Morroco or Egypt in your game your chances of getting DF or Petra drastically decrease, not to mention that the only production tiles in deserts are the hills, if you don't have a decent amount...

    Brave New World Trainer

There's a mod called ingame editor, there's a thread about it somewhere on the forum with download link, otherwise there's always the ingame method. I believe it's mainly used for cooking the maps but also allows things like changing the amount of cash, science or culture and even more advanced...

Scared to move up in difficulty

Maybe if you cook your settings or have crazy luck with ruins (free pottery, writing, one or two population boosts and quick aristocracy), but if you like big maps with lotsa civs, it's practically impossible on deity, unless you're on a duel map or something, don't even bother trying.

Gold not a problem? It's pretty rare people are not running a deficit early game, when you're playing wide (which you probably will be doing as China anyway) those 3 extra gold per library (no 1 gold maintainance), and the Chu-Ko-Nu is extremely strong defensively, and also fairly strong for...

Well, since Gal Civ III is going 64bit..uh....

I have little doubt this will be the case for Civ6, god knows Civ5 is slow lategame on big maps already, kind of confused why there would be some sort of hype around this, it's a nice increase in performance for a lot of PC's, but not all that much. The only reason they probably didn't do it for...
