I was playing earlier drilling down the 'tradition' tree as usual, and it got me wondering, each tree always has the same old 5 policies. wouldn't it be better at the start of every game, each tree randomly presents 5 policies from a total pool of 10 available for each tree each time the game...

I think the early concern modifiers were there before the scrambled eggs DLC. I have them in my game now without the DLC

Is the Nau unit really only there to make one time costal profit? its seems that the Privateers came straight after and is more powerful a unit with the same movement.

Dear Fireaxis, please don't do this. its cheesy. its not exactly adware, but when I see and add for another game on the CIV startup screen my initial reaction was guys, spend more time coding for THIS game instead, the one I've spent over a hundry on.

I managed to get the game to run in 2048 x 1536 and this was the result on the leader screen. Seems the leader screen animations top out at about 2048 x 1150

what is the highest resolution the leader screens can go? at the highest settings with 1920 x 1080 these were the results I could get. does anyone have screen shots of leader screens at really, really high resolution pixel count? what is the maximum pixel resolution of civ 5?

every game is a race for Dynamite. Spam Cannons then upgrade to Artillery. Once you have Artillery you control the map, its then a race for nuclear weapons.

In BNW I have a habit of finishing Piety and Liberty first (in either order) I was wondering what is the impact of skipping Tradition, or filling it out as the third policy branch, is it too late to get its effects or should I be focused on Rationalism as the third branch?
