No, with a growth increasing belief providing an extra 10%, the Hanging Gardens will provide 6.6 food instead of 6, thus making it even better then before. The more food you have, the more you'll get out of that percentage bonus.
Why not? Personally, I have no issues at all going from the earlier eras and then adapt it to the new units in the modern era, and if the AI is having issues, they need to spend more time on it and improve it.
Look at the TW games. Sure, a human player will almost always be able to beat even...
Why? A simply a>b>c>a system is way less interesting then a more complex system where you get to decide which counter to bring in based on how well the enemy is prepared to deal with the potential counters trough support units and combined arms. I don't mind AA and AT being merged, they're...
Realistic or not, if we don't want to have the crossbow problem just be delayed until the modern era, there needs to be something after.
Making it simple, it could just be a machine gun on a vehicle, "mechanize machine guns".
"Not that important" to the extent of none being in service, and only 4 countries in the world even using cruisers. The rest don't go any bigger then destroyers...but you get the chance to change history in Civ, so I I'd be fine with them appearing anyway.
2/4 are already in the game, ship of the line is a English UU and everyone get cruisers. They're specifically called missile cruisers rather then just cruiser, but still.
Upgrade to mechanized machine gunners? It's far from rare to have them mounted on different types of vehicles now.
Regarding the unit balance, I really liked Empire Earths model, where you basically have a rock/paper/scissor system in each main group of units (air, land, sea) and then limited...
It could get interesting if the Carthaginian UA does allow you to build roads on those mountains. Each worker would only be able to work for 1 turn (move in, end turn: 50 hp, build road, end turn: 0 hp), but if you're willing to spend a few of them on it (and twice as many turns compared to any...
Good point about the spy, but I said Britain, not Great Britain, aka Britannia aka the southern part of GB that the Romans held during that period.
If she's been confirmed as a leader of the Celts rather then just having the Celts confirmed in addition to having her confirmed separately...
Previous posts I've read on the subject state that liberated major civs will vote for you aswell, which would make sense.
In addition to that, it's worth mentioning that the civ that built the UN gets 2 votes.
Even if they were eliminated, you can still liberate them and have them vote.
Can't exclude the possibility, but I think most people associate her with Britain, not the Celtic as a whole. For example, the Wikipedia article about here refers to her and the rebellion as brittish troughout the entire thing, but only mention anything containing "celt" twice:
That combined...
Where do you get Queen Victoria from? Boudicca is confirmed as a new leader in that screenshot, so I agree that they'll be a new civ, but Boudicca will be the leader.
I'm not sure, but I think Britain is the same as England, but Great Britain includes Wales and Scotland. Still, it would indeed be more confusing to have it called Britain then to have it stay as England.
It probably will be way worse then that though - Boudicca is a new leader, which probably...
