I don't know if there's a mod for improving the workers on automatization. However, i am used to control each worker during first stages of the game, especially in the multiplayer games. Workers may be automatized later. Thrust me, the AI often better knows than human what each city needs...

Hard to explain in few words of the title... To make it simple, i've done an Europe map with 18 civs. Now, what if i want to play this Europe map in a random way? I mean, like it was not a scenario, with different civs from those 18 i did set initially, in different random starting positions...

Call whatever you want, i call it cheating, you have to discover on YOUR OWN what is going on, not some funky mod tells you cause you're too lazy to make a bunch of spyes and manage the espionage sphere.

I find unfair a mod telling you AI is planning war, kind of cheaty and for sure an advantage to the player.

See what i am talking about, you're telling me problems i don't even know! To me the main issues playing Civ4 are the automatized workers and random DoWs and a not really too smart AI, but said this, i can't complain much more... I just play Civ4 for sake of fun, i don't analyze games...

No i didn't say it's perfect, but i'd call it finished, since Firaxis is no more working on it, right? Civ4 Vanilla is still some nice game but there's no chance you'll want to play without BtS.
