    Multi-faith empires

Think of it like a civilization that practices widespread toleration. They'd prefer if everyone lined up with the official faith, but things just seem to work out better if people are left to practice their religion of choice. And there is at least one reason to weed out foreign religions...

    China is fantastic in G&K

Don't forget the fact that GGs now culture bomb. It's a shame I can't continually burn GGs into golden ages like in vanilla, but it's a lot of fun having so many culture bombs.

Just what are you doing in these sacrifices that generates 100 gold? :nono:

    What's your Religion???

I usually found religions based on how far they are from the traits I pick for them. For example, my version of Daosim involves large religious centers, cathedrals, and aggressive evangelism, while my Tengrism is based on sea worship (the Eternal Blue Sea!) and trade.

    The Huns Make me Sad

You can always try deleting the Huns from the game files. Plenty of people have talked about doing the same to Austria, so it's certainly possible.

Has anyone seen Eldorado or the Fountain of Youth?

My Empires of Smoky Skies scenario had El Dorado. It felt satisfyingly appropriate to the theme.

    Annoying ethiopia colours

They don't seem similar at all to me. Ethiopia's red is a little pinkish, and the dark green is decidedly green. To be honest I thought you were going to complain that Ethiopia looks like Christmas.

    like Ethiopia, but need guidance

Use the stele to get you an early religion, then base it around getting culture. A religion with World Religion as a founder belief and Cathedrals and Pagodas as follower beliefs is pretty good. Just make sure you send out plenty of missionaries so you get the bonus from World Religion. The UA...

Pacal just got on his knees and begged for forgiveness?

I don't know mucha bout the actual Pacal, but from the character in game it's pretty clear everything he does is supposed to be dramatic. He's a man wearing a massive headdress on top of a pyramid -- his style of leadership involves a lot of public display, so any emotion he portrays is going to...

    Are the religions useless?

So far I quite like the role of religion. It can either be a key component to your broader strategy, or a nice bonus plus flavor you get for little effort, but it isn't all-consuming. Getting Daoism early as Ethiopia gave me the chance to spread it far and wide before most religions were...

So how'd you win that first G&K victory?

Standard, King, Ethiopia, Continents A stele plus stone circles meant I founded Daoism well before anyone else founded any religions. I went with World Religion, Cathedrals, Religious Center (should have gone with Pagodas instead), and Itinerant Preachers, then used my excess faith to build a...
