The mongols had an interesting way of shooting arrows--they only used their thumb to draw the arrow. Here is an explanation of why it is more effective than other methods from Wikipedia:
Can't find anything about how the natives used bows.

Rome and Denmark have always backstabbed me no matter what happened in the game, but Sweden has consistently been an ally in every game I've played with them. Perhaps it is just me trying too hard to DoF so I get the GP production bonus.
Edit: Sweden just declared war on me in my current game...
Maybe a free shrine in the first 4 cities? Or half :c5production: cost for shrines, or shrines provide double :c5faith:. I think any of those would be less OP than free shrines.
Vanilla: No goto vanilla civ because I didn't finish playing all of them before I got G&K
DLC: Denmark
G&K: Celts
BNW: Poland and Shoshone. Maybe Morocco as well with additional culture and gold from trade routes so I can experience new diplo/trade route/culture mechanics.
Future civs...
This is so true and should be the reason all Civs are included in the game. I do not know much about the Shoshone, but I am excited to learn about them because they are in BNW. Sure, they may not have had as well known of a culture that other Civs they pushed out of contention, but if the devs...
I am excited to play as the shoshone and I plan to play them or Morocco first. I think I will go with shoshone because their UA doesn't change the new features in BNW so I can experience these new features as they intended to be implemented, unlike Morocco's bonus to trade routes.
The big surprise is the total conversion of hexes to tiles. Huehuehuehue
In all seriousness, I think it has something to do with Venice's playstyle. Although not historically accurate, it would be really cool if the roads were replaced by canals through which naval units could move. Or, naval...
Not necessarily. They could build strings of canals make a maximum of 3 hexes in length. The art of it could look like a canal, but it would act the same way as any coast tiles with boats moving through it. These could also be blockaded and be influenced by the trade routes.
They could play similarly to inuit with bonuses for snow or marsh (I am assuming because they are from the Finland area.. Right?)
Venice UI could be canals. That would be pretty cool to play with.
An Inuit Civilization
Not sure on a leader
UA: food and gold from snow tiles and food from tundra tiles. Whales provide +1 production. Maybe all naval units can move through ice.
UU: some kind of ship that can move through ice tiles if it is not part of the UA. Maybe the trading boat or...
