Just an update, I have a Dell Inspiron w/15 inch UXGA, P4 3.06GHz, 1GB RAM. The video card is ATI Mobility Radeon 9000, with 64MB RAM. I downloaded the patch this weekend, and the game started up. Graphics are all set to medium. I played a standard map for 4 hours. After 3 hours of...

    which is best?

Greetings, In a game I have just produced a great leader and am wondering which would be the best choice. Here's my options: 1. Build the Economic wonder that pays for market places and such. 2. Build the Newton wonder in the same city that has the Copernicus wonder. 3. I still need a...

pollution and railroads put me to sleep

I like that idea for pollution. That would be perfect. I'd still like to be able to buy my way out though. There really isn't much economic impact with pollution right now. I've never not built a factory because of it. It's just a nuisance to the player in time. There should be more of...

pollution and railroads put me to sleep

The discussion on the City Governor got me thinking about the only two aspects of the game I find boring and tedious: Covering your territory with railroads, and cleaning pollution... Railroads really give your cities a big boost in production so I get all workers involved right away...
